Potsdam is located southwest of the German capital of Berlin and can be easily reached by various means of transport. Potsdam and Berlin are adjacent cities and have a coordinated metropolitan public transport system (Verkehrsverbund Berlin Brandenburg / VBB).

From Berlin, where all long-distance trains stop, you can quickly get to Potsdam by S-Bahn and regional train. Because of the proximity of the two airports Schönefeld and Berlin-Tegel, you can arrive comfortably by plane. In Potsdam itself, trams, buses and ferries run day and night.

The Seminaris SeeHotel Potsdam is located on the western edge of Potsdam's Pirschheide woodland area, right on the banks of the Templiner lake.

  Train

Potsdam is connected to the intercity and regional transportation network of the Deutsche Bahn. Long-distance trains stop at Berlin’s main station ‘Hauptbahnhof’. From here you can reach Potsdam’s main station (Hauptbahnhof) in 45 minutes with the S-Bahn S7. The regional express trains going in the direction of Magdeburg or Brandenburg/Havel also stop at the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof.

From Potsdam-Main Station, we recommend you to take a taxi (about 15 -18 EUR) to the Conference Venue (Seminaris SeeHotel, An der Pirschheide 40).
If you prefer to reach the hotel by public transport, the nearest tram stop is 'Potsdam-Pirschheide', situated ca. 800 m (less than 15 min by foot) from the Seminaris SeeHotel (tram #91 or #98, bus #695, #631).
